Pastor Dennis Norby
"Made Himself nothing... exalted to the Highest Place"
Length Approximately: 00:28:31
Philippians 2:1-11
---
Today's message looks at one of the most beautiful passages describing for us what Jesus Christ did for us. He came from the glory of heaven, humbled himself, and even died for you and me. Paul uses the example of Jesus to show the Philippians the importance of humility. Pride is a problem that we all have and the answer to the problem is found in Jesus. Pray as you listen that God would teach you about humility and the supreme example that we have in Jesus Christ.

Pastor Dana Coyle
"The Hidden Smile of God"
Length Approximately: 00:40:50
Philippians 1:27-30
Suffering is a miserable thing. We hate it, and consider it a curse. But the Scriptures call upon us to see it in a positive light. "It has been granted to you...to suffer for Him..." Suffering, just like saving faith, is birthed out of God's grace. But it's not that suffering has intrinsic value (good for it's own sake, an end in and of itself). Rather, it has productive value because of what God can produce in us through it. Paul tells us that when Christians suffer well, the greatness and beauty of Christ and His Kingdom is revealed...it's a means whereby God communicates Himself to the world.

Pastor Dana Coyle
"The Only Thing That Matters"
Length Approximately: 00:39:00
Philippians 1:18b-26
---
The Apostle Paul declares, "For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain." Pastor Coyle shares that "to live is Christ" means "my life is Christ's" (He is the Source and Owner), and "Christ is my life" (He is my passion, what I live for). And to die is gain, because the Believer passes through death into eternal life in heaven with Christ. Thus Jesus Christ is exalted in both life and death--and Christ being exalted is truly the only thing that matters.
